Botox Post-Care Instructions

For optimal results and to minimize side effects, please follow these guidelines after your treatment:

✅ DO:

Gently move your facial muscles (smile, frown, raise eyebrows) for the first hour to help the Botox settle into the targeted muscles.
Remain upright for 4 hours after treatment—avoid lying down or leaning forward.
Apply ice gently (wrapped in a clean cloth) to reduce swelling or minor bruising if needed.
You may resume your regular skincare routine that evening (avoid harsh exfoliants for 24 hrs).
Stay hydrated and get a good night’s sleep.

❌ AVOID for 24 Hours:

No strenuous exercise, hot yoga, or sweating
No facials, massages, or facial tools (gua sha, rollers)
No touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to the treated areas
No makeup application over the injection sites the same day
No alcohol or NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen) to reduce risk of bruising

What to Expect:

Minor redness, swelling, or bruising at injection sites is normal and should resolve quickly.
If this is your first time, a follow-up appointment is highly recommended around 2 weeks for optimal facial balancing.

When to Contact Us:

Severe pain, allergic reaction symptoms (rash, difficulty breathing)
Drooping eyelid or asymmetry that worsens over several days
